A friend shared this video on social media today. I then shared it with my husband and kids. It has been a hard few years lately, but with the illusive pursuit of perfection washed we can see things in each other that we did not have the ability to see before. The real us. The real each other. And I am finding that is far better than the fairy tale that never was. Is it perfect? No. Is it what I thought it would be? No. But it is it's own kind of wonderful.
